Comments
If a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data provided in the comment form as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user-agent data for spam detection purposes.
An anonymized string created from the email address ("hash") may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether the visitor uses the service. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, the visitor's profile image will be visible publicly in the context of their comment.
If a visitor places an order or subscribes to information on the site, the data provided by the visitor shall be used for the purpose of providing services at the request of the visitor, site administration, as well as for the purposes required by law.

Mediafiles
If the visitor is a registered user and uploads pictures to the site, we recommend that you avoid uploading pictures with EXIF metadata, as they may contain information about the user's GPS location. Other visitors to the site can extract this information by downloading the images.
Contact forms
If a visitor uses the contact form to send a message to our site, he or she will provide his or her name, which may be a fictitious nickname, and email address, as well as any other data that they will include in the message in their sole discretion. This data is used solely for the purpose of processing the visitor's message and is kept for the time it takes to process the message and related activities, unless another period is required by law and for security reasons.
Cookies
If a visitor leaves a comment on our site, they can store their name, email address, and website address in their browser's cookies. This is done for ease of use of the site so that they do not have to fill in the data again when commenting again. These cookies are stored in your browser for one year.
If a visitor has an account on the site and logs in, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether their browser supports cookies; this cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when the visitor closes the browser.
When logging into an account, we also set a number of cookies with the login details and screen settings. Login cookies are stored for two days, and screen settings cookies are stored for one year. When editing or publishing an article, an additional cookie will be stored in the browser, it does not contain personal data, but contains only the ID of the entry edited by the visitor and expires after 1 day.

How long we store your data
If a visitor leaves a comment, the comment itself and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This is done in order to detect and approve subsequent comments from that visitor automatically, instead of placing them in a queue for approval.
For users with a registration on our site, we store the personal information they provide in their profile. All users can see, edit or delete their profile information at any time (except their username). The website administration can also see and change this information.
What rights do you have to your data
If you have an account on the site or if you have left comments, you may request an export file of the personal data we have stored about you, including the data you have provided. You may also request deletion of this data, this does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
