Paper Bat in Five Minutes
If you have everything prepared, then it's time to get down to business. Have patience, read the text carefully and enjoy the process. Good luck!
- Take a black sheet of paper, place it on a smooth surface. Top left corner fold it diagonally. Draw a straight line from the base of the diagonal fold to the opposite edge of the sheet. Unfold the paper. Cut along the drawn path. You will have two geometric shapes: a square and a rectangle. The last quadrilateral is put aside, you will not work with it.
- Take in your hands a square piece of paper, fold it diagonally. You will get a triangle. Place it with the top down.
- Spread the figure horizontally along the midline. Fold the top of the triangle on this line so that it looks out. The design will look like a crown. Turn the handicraft.
- Not going all the way to the middle, both sides of the figures bend the corners upward.
- Now fold again the resulting wings in half, but at him. Turn the future of the bat.
- Take in the hands of scissors and make small incisions on the head of the mammal. Fold the middle back so that the ears took their shape.
- Now cut out a white paper circle or an oval. Choose any bright color from which you will make the pupils. Glue the pupils onto the circle/roll and you have wonderful eyes.
This bat is easy to make and can be done by yourself in a couple of minutes. Make a few of these creatures and hang them on your refrigerator, front door or closet. They are a great decoration.
Bat origami technique for children
- Take a square piece of paper. Fold it in half. Unfold. Fold again, but in the other direction. Open. Fold along the diagonal. Return to its original position.
- Along the lines formed you will see four large triangles. Fold two of them inside. Position the product to you so that the top of the triangle was at the bottom, and on the right side were two corners.
- With scissors make an incision on the right side near the bottom corner. Above make the same, but so that the second connected with the first cut. Take out the resulting small piece of paper that looks like a crescent moon.
- Open the triangles with slits to the sides. The remaining two solid triangles also place to the sides.
- Fold one corner to the side, and then bend it to the center line. Then the entire triangle wrap inside. Repeat steps in the opposite direction. Formed calf.
- The topmost corner where there are cuts, bend down. You get a muzzle with ears.

This bat bat, flapping its wings, very beautiful, but not easy to do origami. It will take more time and effort, but you will love the result. Good luck!
- Take a square piece of paper. Fold it horizontally in half. Open. Do the same steps vertically and horizontally. Return to the original position.
- Put the bottom of the sheet to the middle. A line will be marked, note it. Unfold the paper. Put the top of the sheet to that line. Return to the original position.
- Fold the sheet in the shape of a triangle, turn it upside down. Place the figure with the top down. Look closely at all the lines. Fold the tip, located at the bottom, up to the outermost curves. Handicraft will look like a boat.
- At the joints of the top corner bend inward right hand strip. Fold back. Repeat this step for the left side. New lines are formed. Fold them to the middle of both sides. Turn the product.
- In the middle is an elongated pentagon. Wrap the bottom two corners to the center. Open. The resulting two small triangles pressed inside. Turn the handicraft.
- Corners, located near the center, bend in opposite directions. You get paws mammal. Turn the future mouse.
- Fold the top tip to itself to the bottom. Shaped the head. Unfold the paper design.
- To make the right wing bat, you need to bend the line on the right side and bend for her self-wing. Do the same for the other side. Turn the mouse face toward you.
- Wings fold into an accordion, then spread them out a little, but not much.
- The bottom two points on the head of the mammal, carefully duck. Wrap the tip of the muzzle down.
The finished product is attached to the walls, paintings, windows. It turns out very beautiful.
Using a stencil, you can cut out the finished bat from the paper. The composition on the wall of a flock of winged animals will give the room a festive look. But believe me, making a handicraft in the origami technique, you will surprise all the relatives and friends with their skills. And the process will bring you a good mood.
This is interesting! Making a winged creature, it would be a crime not to learn anything about it. Here are the most interesting facts:
- Some breeds of flying animals do drink fresh blood, but there are also some that feed on flower nectar or insects;
- These mammals (small in size) can swallow more than five hundred mosquitoes in one hour;
- These creatures communicate with their own kind through ultrasonic squeaks, even singing songs together;
- the legend of vampires turning into bats was first mentioned in the novel Dracula;
- they actually sleep upside down because it's easier for them to fly;
- if you are bitten by one of these creatures, you will feel no pain because they inject an enzyme into the blood of their victims, which anesthetizes them;
- "vampires" see very well, but rely not only on sight, but also on hearing.
